I have always had a passion of working with wood whether it was making furniture pieces or when my children were young making wooden toys for them. This passion evolved into fitting kitchens and bathrooms for family members.

As I am getting older and not so able to carry out these big jobs,  and with retirement in mind I started looking at other things I could occupy my self with and maintain the connection with wood, so  I tried my hand at woodturning after watching YouTube videos, I found myself really enjoying the new learning curve and being inspired with the natural beauty of the wood I have worked with.
Since I have retired I have more time to dedicate to my new passion of the woodturning journey, with lots of time to create and try new techniques.
